Resolution at DNB
Since 15 September 2025, Roel works at De Nederlandsche Bank in its Resolution Department, mainly on the bail-in project.
As a separate activity, he writes and lectures on prudential supervision and resolution, focusing on all prudential supervision issues re market access, ongoing solidity and governance supervision, recovery and resolution as well as liquidation (solvent or via bankruptcy).
In addition, he is chief editor at the SDU Financial Law huB, and a volunteer at COC Amsterdam.
